We embarked on a new adventure on journey this day. We decided to host three families who needed help, whether that is a meal, gifts, or a stove during this Christmas we wanted to help.
FWPD procured several families for us to help. Most of these families did not have a father at home, so we were able to provide gifts needed for little girls and boys who needed help. Some of them were cancer patients and one set of kids had their mother pass away due to cancer. The families by last names were the W'man, L'ton, Amanda, Gonzalez, Salais, Coronado, Salas, and Drake. I'd like to mention Gladney Adoption Center, helped by Sarah, who gave us some needed toys and money. We praise God that he sent us all over the city of Fort Worth to present His love and the grace that only comes from trusting and believing in the hope of the gospel.
Three other families were hosted as mentioned above. The Mindietas were served at Southwayside Baptist Church. They were gracioulsy helped by Pastor Ruben Martinez and his staff who were all present there. They were given gifts that were donated by Hope Farms. A big thank you to the Thrashers who provided so much to us. North Fort Worth Baptist Church provided all the food. Thank you.
MHMR was our second facility. Here the Rowlands provided ample of help from giving each of them a Bible to Ranger's tickets that will be later revealed. The thirteen present there were so elated and happy.
The Hunters were the last family we assistend with. A big thank you to the Gravenors and Simeks who provided their small group from Northwood to help them. They were in big need of a stove and several other items needed this Christmas. Their new stove, bought from Lowes, will now provide them a much needed place to cook their meals.
Overall, I am truly thankful for everyone's help in this endeavor! Till next time!!!
